DNS lookup.
Look up a domain's A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, CAA and SOA records through Cloudflare's public resolver.
What it checks
Checks
The A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, CAA and SOA records for the name you enter, as 1.1.1.1 resolves them now.
Each record's time to live (TTL).
Whether the resolver validated the answers with DNSSEC.
Doesn’t check
Other names under the domain. Subdomains are not listed or guessed.
What other resolvers, or your own network, return.
Anything on the domain's own servers. Nothing is sent to them.
Questions
Where do the answers come from?
Cloudflare's public resolver, 1.1.1.1, over DNS over HTTPS. The tool asks it once per record type and shows what it returns.
Why is a record I just changed not showing?
Resolvers keep answers for the record's TTL. Until the old TTL runs out, 1.1.1.1 may still return the old value.
Does this list a domain's subdomains?
No. It looks up only the name you enter. Finding a domain's subdomains is enumeration, and these tools do not do it.
Is what I enter stored?
No. Your IP address is used only to count requests for rate limiting, for one minute, and what you enter is not logged or kept.
